Loveletters for The TreeSpace Studio

Working with a client on a custom invitation suite or stationery can be the most rewarding thing in the world. It is about sharing a piece of what might be the most joyous occasion in a person’s life and I am always extremely honored to be asked to take on this momentous task. To me everything about the invitation is a big deal, from the artwork to the careful selection of materials, to the packaging and gifting, the datelines and most of all, to always try to put myself in a wedding couple’s (and their guests’)  shoes so that I would be able to present to them a truly wonderful preview of their special day that they will treasure for years to come.

These are some of the comments straight from them:

Custom Invitation suite in the form of a travelogue sketchbook, accordian folded built-in map with details of their wedding for a travel-happy couple:

“We wanted to ensure that our invitation set the proper tone, had all the essential information, exuded a certain degree of wit and originality and excited our guests. With so many bland options available and boilerplate invitations at our disposal we were dismayed that we wouldn’t be able to convey our wedding plans appropriately to our friends and family.

Amy patiently waited while we worked out and revised our wedding details, building invitation ideas and themes as we finalized our arrangements. When the mock-up of our invitation came we closely worked with her to edit and add specifics and when the draft
arrived I’ll always remember how my wife called me from work, crying over the beauty of the finished invitation.

It was the perfect realization of our vision and as soon as our guest received them the complimentary emails and phone calls poured in- more importantly a true sense of excitement was built. ” -Alan

“She started designing immediately, was very quick to respond to my emails, and was really flexible to changes I wanted to make. Very quickly after giving her some information, she already had sketches ready for me to see. It was a beautiful design, and was a smooth interaction.” -Nikki, from Etsy

Custom-Illustrated Vintage Map-Style Invitations
Hi Amy,

“Just received the package – thank you SOOO much! I absolutely adore the stickers and can’t wait to get the RSVP cards back and create the huge mural :)

Thank you also for the font name, I think I’m going to download it and print it onto the RSVP card return envelopes :)

You’ve been such a pleasure to work with and I’m absolutely planning on working with you for thank you notecards and hopefully some favors when I get those ideas going. I was actually thinking for thank you’s it would be cute to have us in the plane pulling a “Just Married… Thank You!!” sign from the plane through the air! Look forward to chatting again soon!! Have a wonderful weekend -

Holly

Amy was wonderful to work with from our initial brainstorming session and throughout the entire process of creating our custom wedding invitation suite (and my fiancé and I were even 3000 miles away during the process)! We wanted unique invitations that would showcase our “journey” towards marriage and EVERY detail my fiancé and I hoped to see in the invitations were there and the end result was absolutely beautiful! Amy even worked with us to customize stickers for our suite so everything would come together the way we envisioned it. I very much look forward to working with her again and hope other Etsy users have the pleasure of working with her as well :) Thank you, Amy!!
