Hello, thanks for dropping by the TreeSpace Studio!
My name is Amy and I create custom hand-painted invitations, illustrations and whimsical paper goods to treasure, on unique, sustainable materials. Let us make YOURS precious...
the custom process
Our custom artisanal invitations are highly personal storytelling objects hand-crafted to your exact specifications. It is like commissioning a special piece of functional art to commemorate your special event or business.
Watch this little slideshow below to see one of our custom wedding projects get transformed from a colorful sketch into the finished object. Enjoy!

Step 1a : Schedule an Initial Consultation
One of the first steps to engaging us is deciding if you think we are a good fit for your wedding needs. At out homepage select the CHARETTE box to schedule an initial consultation with us. This is a total of 2 hours of fun brainstorming and fact-finding and at the end of it, we will present you with full-color sketch ideas!

Step 1b : Request a Quote
Alternatively, you can choose to fill in the Request a Quote form and send it to us. We will reply within 1-3 business days. Initial quotes are valid for 30 days. They are estimates only and will be refined once we begin the official process. (Do allow for at least 12 to 16 weeks from the formal schedule-in date to delivery. Rush orders are sometimes possible but will incur a surcharge.)

Step 2: Engaging Us
Usually, within 2-5 business days of receiving your request we will send you an initial quote, availability and details. If you are interested, we will follow up with a contract for you to sign. Once we receive your signed contract and retainer, we will schedule you in and send you a tentative schedule outlining each stage of deliverables.

Step 3: Getting to Know You
To get the idea ball rolling, we will send you a fun questionnaire to fill out. The more detailed you are with your story the better-inspiration can be found in many places! This is often supplemented with chats either through email, phone or in-person.

Step 4: Mood-boarding!
At any time after signing the contract, you may start to send us inspirational images and links and the FUN begins! This will go in a private online image folder that we set up for you so that we can share images, swap comments and upload progress photos.

Step 5: The Conceptual Sketch
Using these tools and from our chats, we will help you shape your vision. Once we have a firm grasp on your story and vision, we will send you 1 or 2 Concept Sketches to choose from. (This will be a refinement of your initial consultation sketch if you chose Step 1a)

Step 6: Materials Research
Upon approval of the storytelling concept, we begin hunting for the perfect sustainable materials and start work on your digital proof.

Step 7: The Digital Proof
When we work on your Digital Proof we will be finalizing text and layout at this point so be ready to provide all final (to-be-printed) information. We will email or upload the proof and photos to your online folder. Do not be alarmed if your Digital Proof looks plain, its main purpose is to lock down the flow of the story and the logistics.

Step 9: Working on the Artwork
Once the Digital Proof is revised (with your included revision rounds) and we have your written approval, we begin work on the final artwork and Printed Proof!

Step 10: Shipping the Printed Proof-and-Sample Package
We will ship your Printed Proof-and-Sample package, along with a Proof Approval Letter and Final Invoice once it is assembled, per schedule. We will use the shipping address in your questionnaire unless requested otherwise.

Step 11: The Printed Proof and Samples
Please look over your Printed Proof package carefully. All quantity and quote adjustments are made at this point; along with final revisions.

Step 12: Signing the Proof Approval
Once you are happy with the tweaks, return the signed Proof Approval to us along with the final adjusted payment, including all shipping charges, so we can purchase materials and begin production!

Step 13: Production and the Finished Creations
When we have received your Proof Approval and final payments, your Bespoke Creations will go into production and no changes may be made at this point. You may now heave a sigh of relief, we will take care of the rest!

Final Step: Shipping the Bespoke Creations!
We will email you to let you know when your final Bespoke Creations package is ready to ship and to confirm shipping address and times.
We recommend arranging to receive your final package well ahead of the dateline! Enjoy, congratulations and thank you for giving us the opportunity to create something for you!
We only book ONE project per SHIP date (date it leaves our studio) so that we can give it the care it deserves. Booking/placing a retainer reserves that date for you, especially important during busy seasons, and ensures that your quote will be unaffected by any price increases.
